At least I have a reason

When I was an atheist I was miserable.

When I became a Christian I remained miserable, but at least I had a reason to be miserable.

I know why things are the way they are; I know no human can fix it; I know I can’t fix it.

But I know the One who can and will fix it. And it won’t be like they do here in Jo’burg, filling in potholes that are washed open with the next rains.

It’ll be a new road, and new pavements.

I’d say new fences too, but there won’t be need for security, because only those declared righteous will be there, and they have no violence or hatred or envy in their hearts.

Will you be one of them?

The invite has been sent numerous times. Every time someone preaches from the Bible, some form of the message goes out.

Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.

Jesus is a friend to sinners. His arms are open.
